Biography
Liam O’Mahony is a Communications Manager at Rich Products Corporation in Buffalo, New York. Prior to joining Rich’s, he was the Interactive Marketing and Communications Strategist at Medaille College in Buffalo after returning to his native Western New York in the fall of 2012.
He was the Marketing Communications Specialist for the City of Chandler (Arizona) Community Services Department from 2008-2012, managing the public relations, marketing and advertising for facilities, programs and special events. He developed communications plans, advertising campaigns, website content and social media strategy. He wrote columns for local and industry publications, served as the editor of Break Time magazine and produced the “Come Out & Play Chandler” television program.
Previously he also has worked in public relations for the Cornell University and University of New Hampshire athletic departments and the Chicago Bulls, Seattle SuperSonics and Seattle Storm professional basketball franchises.
O’Mahony earned his Accredited Business Communicator (ABC) certification from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) in 2012 and his Accredited Public Relations (APR) certification from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 2011.
He is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in communication and earned his M.B.A. with a marketing emphasis from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
